Your task for homework this week is to imagine you have found yourself in the village pictured. Using only one paragraph can you start to describe how you are feeling and what you see as you look around? Remember the descriptions you wrote on Alma that included similes and adjectives to help the reader create a picture in their head. See if you can use the techniques of describing how your body is reacting rather than ‘I feel scared’. There will be prizes for the most effective descriptions. One spooky evening the clouds let the littlest shiver of light into the ghost town. Lightning struck all around the wind howled like five wolves at once. The buildings had tiles falling off them. Dust flying everywhere from the graveyard. You could here creaking from the floorboards underneath your feet. The mountains

One spooky evening,I was walking in a lonely, eerie village when I heard a lighting strike.
My heart started pounding. I started to speed walk until I saw a castle in the distance.
I walked through the village and I saw some horrid houses and weapons… I carried on walking until I was out of sight of the weapons. I ran until I got out of the village but I ran down a hill but I was still in the creepy village.

Stom DAY Night and ROCK
One spooky evening on Halloween I was dressed up as a spooky skeleton and my Hollow Halloween bucket was jam packed with succulent sweets. I’m 8 and I now go trick or treating by myself ,I promised my mum I would stay close to home and school but I couldn’ t keep the promise,I just had to go further.I started to go further and without knowing where I were going I walked straight into a gargantuan gate! The gate was locked but I knew a trick to open it, so I pulled out one of my hair clips and used it on the gate. Suddenly it creaked open and I walked inside. I froze to the spot and saw an abandoned village. I saw fog everywhere and everything was gloomy and destroyed and I heard wolves howling from a mile away and I smelt smoke coming from everywhere,I could taste fresh blood in my mouth (it was disgusting)and I felt ghosts past by me and I was petrified. I wanted to go home but I was lost.

The swirling mist nearly hypnotized me. The mystical haunted village crept over other villages nearby. Would zombies and skeletons come out from the gravestones? Frozen with goose bumps and shivering, I thought I would faint as I walked silently through the mysterious spine tingling town.

One exciting day on Bonfire night I told my mum and dad that I were going to get sweets and I also told my cousins that I was going out with them it felt like I was going to go with kittens. But just before I reached the door my mum said take these and it was a majik bean. I rubbed it and I got teleported to a creepy world.I was standing in the middle of nowhere. It was so cold that my fingers felt like icicles. The dark and damp buildings are crooked and broken. As I stand here a shiver races down my spine. I can taste burning in the air like my mums burnt sosages. I can hear wolves howl through the myst. I saw millions of shattered windows all around me!

My heart was beating as fast as lightning. I heard a sound, coming from the building. It was the building that had willing smashed windows .I saw a vampire face, it was screaming at me. It shouted GO A WAY, this is my kingdom you need a code to enter the gate. The village was spooky, I heard my mum scream, I felt someone touch my shoulder, I slowly turned around trembling. It was the vampire with blood dripping from his mouth. I ran to hide behind the tallest gravestone. I saw some writing it said my mums name. I took a deep breath and screamed as loudly, and ran for my life. Still I heard running behind me. I didn’t dare look back just kept running.
It was a cold,dull morning as I awoke in a spine-chilling village. Laying on the floor, I cautiously looked around, wondering where I was. This place gives me the chills, I thought. Slowly standing up, wind slapped my face making my face go completely numb.As the wind blew past my face it whistled in my ears.Walking around, overhead a mountain a visible through all the grey clouds. Out of nowhere a weird,howling noise could be heard.My heart started to pound.I ran towards the mountain as fast as possible. As I reached the top of the mountain, my heart seemed like it could be heard from miles away, due to how fast and loud it was pounding.Looking from the top of the mountain, the clouds blocked my view, nothing could be seen. I turned back around to suddenly hear a lightning bolt strike.I felt terror-stricken. I continued to walk forwards, a laugh made be come to an abrupt stop. I turned around, my heart started to pound again this time even faster. I felt like it was a life or death situation. What was going to happen next? Was someone out here coming to kill me?Would I be safe?Will I survive…?
One supernatural night my back felt like it was broken so I woke up. I stood up I saw vapor everywhere. I walked to what looked like a graveyard the stones where tipped over upside down. In the distance you could here a horn it sounded like it was coming from a house that was in the mountain I looked a bit closer I could see a light I gradually escorted down the polluted path. Sooner or later I appeared to be at the bottom of the mountain, my face went numb, by this time the light was flickering. I didn’t know if I should go back then I remembered I didn’t know the way home. Fortunately I had my phone in my pocket I took it out, I tried to call my mum unfortunately there was no internet. Suddenly a wicked laugh was heard all around my body froze like I was a stone statue. The fog started to get harder to see through I started to walk up the mountain. All that had made the light dissapear.
I walked on the horn went of again, I found the house it was coming from I stepped one foot inside. The floorboards creaked under my feet. I heard somebody comig down the stairs all of a sudden the lights flashed when they came back on I was surrounded people with guns and bombs they started firing at me “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” I SHRIEKED
I’m walking in a mysterious ghost village and I felt scared and terrified there’s a castle in the distance I went to the castle and felt like a ghost or a peace of meat
One dark,spooky and stormy night, I walked into a mystiroys and damp village appeared in my beady eyes.Slowly and cautiously I strolled until I heard a noise!(What was that?)In the distance quickly I swirled round but nothing was their! When I turned around, their a zombies crawling out from their gravestones.As fast as I could I ran but I was to slow I was infected!
One spooky night i was on my way to a Halloween party i was dressed up as a cat. after the party i was going to some houses to get some candy. Suddenly i was lost! i found myself in a spooky village and then i heard a noise *creak* I wanted to go home but i was lost! and i heard more noises “MEHEHE!” i was thinking could skeletons come out of the graves!?! I ran and ran till i saw a gate i opened it up and BAMM as fast as lightning i ran to my house safely. i never wanna do Halloween ever again!
It’s dark and cold, I stand looking into the distance as the fog slowly crept towards this spooky village I somehow found myself in.
The sky darkening with little flickers of moonlight glimmering through the thick clouds, I’m so alone and afraid heart beating so fast feeling like it’s going to jump out, shaking like a leaf.
How on earth did I end up here, How am I going to get out of here.
Not knowing who or what lies behind the doors of each of these spooky houses I imagine all kinds of evil. The hairs on the back of my neck are stood up alone and afraid I somehow manage to pluck up the courage to find away, anyway to get home.
